Service
Irrigation Leak Detection
Ref Detection service
An irrigation leak can quietly waste thousands of litres a month and still look like a healthy garden. We isolate each zone, pressure test the line and listen for the loss so only the failed section is opened. Valve and solenoid faults are separated from pipe failures before any digging starts.

Symptoms we test for
What this looks like on site
- Water bill peaking in months when irrigation should be off
- Soggy or unusually green patch in the lawn
- One zone losing pressure or spraying weakly
- Valve box that never seems to stop running
- Sunken paving or soil along a garden line
How the survey runs
Five steps, no exploratory demolition
- 01
Zone mapping
Every station on the controller is mapped and run individually to identify the zone at fault.
- 02
Valve and solenoid check
Stuck valves and failed solenoids are tested first, because they mimic line leaks.
- 03
Line pressure testing
The suspect line is isolated and pressure tested to confirm a break and estimate its severity.
- 04
Acoustic location
The break is located acoustically and marked, so the repair is a small excavation.

FAQ
Irrigation Leak Detection questions
Still unsure? Call the 24/7 line or send a WhatsApp and describe what you are seeing — we will tell you what test is needed.
Can you detect a leak if the irrigation system is old and unmapped?
Yes. We map the system as part of the survey using valve-by-valve isolation and listening.
Does this apply to estates and body corporates?
Yes. We survey communal gardens, sports fields and estate irrigation on a scheduled or emergency basis.
Will you damage the lawn?
No. Detection is done from the surface. Only the marked repair point is opened, by your landscaper or plumber.
